2. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds are applicable only under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation made within the allowed free cancellation period

  • Duplicate payment or transaction error

  • Booking cancelled by the hotel due to unavoidable circumstances


3. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • Cancellation made after the allowed cancellation window

  • No-show (guest does not arrive on check-in date)

  • Non-refundable or discounted bookings clearly marked as “Non-Refundable”

  • Early check-out or unused services


4. Cancellation-Based Refunds
  • Full refund: If cancelled within [X hours/days] before check-in

  • Partial refund: If cancelled after free window (as per cancellation charges)

  • No refund: If cancelled very close to check-in or after check-in date


5. Refund Processing Time
  • Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days after approval

  • The time taken for funds to reflect depends on your bank or payment provider


6. Mode of Refund
  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method

  • For payments made via gateways like Razorpay, the refund will be credited back to the same account/card/UPI


7. Transaction Charges
  • Any payment gateway or bank charges (if applicable) may be deducted from the refund amount


8. Hotel-Initiated Cancellation

If velvetvistashospitality cancels a confirmed booking:

  • Guests will receive a 100% refund, OR

  • Option to reschedule the booking (subject to availability)


9. Force Majeure

Refunds may not be applicable in cases of events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Strikes or emergencies
